Large Group Party Activities What Group Activities For Seniors Have You Found Beneficial?

What group activities for seniors have you found beneficial? - large group party activities

These are some I found, and we try to "DVD night" with food in the region. We have a group of old vacation slide show. Other suggestions you've tried, or do you want?

# A house or a community garden can be made in every area of the size, even in containers.
# A book discussion club is exciting and for most people. The books are on tape and large available.
# Volunteer work for people in need can be added that blankets, packing school supplies for children and much more. For more ideas, charities online research or ask the local churches and community organizations. It is always a need.
Class # group recreational exercise was more fun and exercise bearable. Aqua aerobics (in mEast YMCA and community pools) are specially designed for seniors.
# A movie night with popcorn and maybe a "theme" parties can be fun. Back to old favorites or enjoy new movies at home or in a theater.
# DVD Journey "Travel", with a potluck in the region is a real pleasure.
# A choral group can continue to stay at home or to share the joy with others.

Always gather for Nick at Night Poker, each meets once a month and a brown hatchback brings everyone coffee and snacks and a breakaway group of liars, of course, the liar, you do not occasionally, but it's fun

Positive, as I have to leave the house and interacting with other people while I swim, older people with curious minds. But I also have courses for fun.
A group of us go to the state online 21st April on the day. It is a bit over the border of Nevada, Ca

Sports games are fun and it's as if you were playing as a "little movement" in question.
Most games like Guitar Hero or Dance Revolution, have levels so that everyone can play and practice.

I'm not going activities of the third age group, I think it's more fun to hang with the general public.

They have high ideals, like the book club at our church, for now, I thought this group could meet and visit people in nursing homes and veterans hospitals here and decorate d neighbors on how to better health and a local park. I thought starting a Bible study for older people.
